MadiTHON is James Madison University's annual 12-hour dance marathon benefiting the patients of our local Children's Miracle Network Hospital, University of Virginia Children's Hospital in Charlottesville. MadiTHON is sponsored by Phi Mu and a fraternity (in the past it has been sponsored by Alpha Sigma Phi, Delta Tau Delta, and Tau Kappa Epsilon). Each year hundreds of participants commit to staying on their feet for 12-hours to raise money and awareness for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Since the start of MadiTHON in 2014 more than $325,000 has been donated, making it the most successful dance marathon in the state of Virginia. We were also the first collegiate dance marathon in the state of Virginia to raise $100,000.
We dance for those who can't in hopes for a cure. Everything we do is For The Kids.
